The current class timetable for our Edinburgh Chapter in Scotland, and how to book.
New Students
You’re welcome to attend classes at any point during the year. Don’t worry if you’ve missed the start of a weapon term, our instructors tailor our weekly classes to ensure beginners can fully participate.
Timetable
We run 2 standard classes every week, from 19:00 to 20:30.
Mondays
Structured classes suitable for beginners and experienced fencers. Our instructors will lead smallsword and military sabre terms, teaching students curriculum fundamentals, enhanced techniques, strategy and free play skills, all the way through to final weapon assessments.
Thursdays
Unstructured classes where approved students can participate in free play and independent weapon study. Individual and group tuition is available for beginners, focused on our current curriculum. Remedial lessons are also offered for students looking for extra practice.
Upcoming Term - Military Sabre
We’re currently closed for the festive break, but will return on 6th January 2025 for military sabre tuition. Join us in the new year and explore how this powerful weapon of war was utilised across Europe. For more details, visit our weapons page.
Booking and Payment
To attend classes, purchase a monthly membership subscription or individual tickets from our online shop.
Please note, we don’t accept card or cash payments at our venue. To avoid disappointment, make sure you book in advance. You must be aged 18 years or over to attend and participate in classes.
